My MFA exhibition, Between Us, Invisible Walls held at The Creation Cube gallery at the George Bothwell Branch of the Regina Public Library (2025).
The Language of Touch is an interactive wall installation where audiences activate engraved Persian poetry by touching aluminum plates. Through calligraphy, sound, and touch, the work confronts viewers with a language barrier, mirroring the emotional distance and cultural exclusion migrants experience through translation and communication.
In Her Words is a single-channel video installation featuring interviews with seven Iranian women migrants. Presented in Farsi and English, the work invites quiet observation and reflection on migration, identity, and emotional part of migration.
Inner Echoes is an auditory installation activated by face-detection technology, triggering fragmented recordings of my voice translating imperfect English phrases. Through sound and headphones, the piece immerses the audience in the confusion, isolation, and constant self-correction of living between languages.
